Time To Remember - Fuel R100 Silverback

Time To Remember - Fuel R100 Silverback

Based on a BMW R100R from 1992 the Fuel R100 Silverback was commissioned by Rodolphe from France.

The BMW R100 Roadster has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 980cc, two-cylinder boxer powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission that produces a claimed 60 horsepower and 76 Nm of torque plus a 41mm Showa telescopic front fork and a Paralever rear suspension unit.

The main idea was to build a scrambler bike with a classic, imposing and minimalist look.
To get this we mount a big BMW R75/5 tank combined with a scrambler style seat for two people upholstered with two different finishes of leatherette.
We adapt to an old metal air filter box also from a BMW R75 to get the whole engine block look more retro.
The minimalist touch comes from the grips, indicators, mirrors, push buttons and speedometer from Motogadget. A clean and modern part that fits perfectly with the whole look of the bike.
The fuel tank paint is clearly a classic BMW style and adding the aluminum side panels and BMW emblem gets an original and elegant look.
We improve also some performances of the bike mounting a front fork progressive springs and a new Hagon rear shock.
The side panels are a perforated metal plate handmade and the tires are a Continental TKC 80 which gives an aggressive look.
We want to thanks our mechanic Claudio for his knowledge and passion for building this bike.
